International Gospel music minister – Toluwanimee is back with a new single titled – ‘Open Up’ from her debut album titled – ‘Go Deeper’ scheduled for released in the first quarter of 2018; after the release of the worship anthem – ‘Ultimate Price’ earlier on in the year featuring Freke Umoh.
Sharing the inspiration behind the soul stirring new single, Toluwanimee shared –
”If you are a people’s person you would totally relate. I got this song at a time when I got to my wits end and totally exhausted myself, a lot of things were going wrong at the same time.
People misunderstood me, relationships I had built over time were strained and I was in that place of solitude, and brokenness to God. Just fellowshipping and listening for some kind of reassurance the song came “I open up that you would fill me, let showers of rain of your refreshing fill my soul and every searching I open up.
Break down my walls; change my perspective, I open up. The song gave me life, it ministered to my spirit. I contacted Wilson Joel and after he worked on the song and built a structure.
I wrote the bridge, take over Holy Ghost power, break down walls Holy Ghost power take over, over all of me.”

The Nigerian born-UK based Gospel act is truly a psalmist and minstrel. Her large repertoire of musical style has distinguished her she is truly committed to her vision and passion to compel and usher the nations into Gods presence.
Toluwanimee describes her inspiration for “Miracle God” as a personal experience of a need for a miracle she shares –
“Having been away from my 3 children (my last only 8 months) and hubby for more than a year studying in the UK and losing my sister to an automobile accident in same period. I was struggling with too many changes and being termed a failure because it wasn’t looking good for me at all. I needed a miracle if not my 18 months would have been a total waste. All I could do was worship on the 20th floor in my cold room and I desperately cried and asked God for a miracle, I sang Glowreeyah Braimah’s “Miracle Worker” a lot day in day out on different occasions. After a period I found myself pulling out new sounds and songs of trust and total reliance on God’s absolute ability to bring me out of the struggle i daily passed through. Among other songs I heard my self saying “you are, you are, you are a miracle worker and the verse flowed through I quickly grabbed my phone and recorded and that was it”.
Shortly, after the release of her previous single produced by UK Based Gospel music maestro, Evans Ogboi, titled – Forever. Toluwanimee returns with a fresh, upbeat, urban praise song to bless and uplift our spirit man once again.

Speaking on Faithful Lord, Toluwanimee says –
“One cool afternoon I sat in the quietness of my living room and was flooded with thoughts hmmmmh, I noted some points where I had compromised, where I could have been more firm in the things I believed, more resilient. Selah! The clutching sting of guilt wanted to lay its claws on me but then I remembered it was not about what I had done , I remembered grace (God’s overwhelming desire to treat me favourably like I had never done wrong) gisssshhhh man is unfaithful and frail, makes mistakes but God remains faithful, he cannot lie , or deny himself . My heart was overwhelmed with gratitude and praise, wow and there it was this amazing song. We call you ‘Faithful Lord, ape oni oba awoba, we call you king of all kings we praise you Lord’. I had to do loads of consulting to fluent my Yoruba but it came out amazing.”
